Welcome to an automated process to manage Review Requests. Website owners will request that Stopbadware check their site for badware and report back to our partners that the site is clean. This application manages these requests, the status of the site and the results of the tests that we run on their sites.
The Appeals Application is driven by statuses. As the status of an appeal changes, it moves through our system.
In the chart below, the statuses appear in black font. The status of the appeal is on top, while the status of our tests results is on the bottom.
Actions taken by our staff appear in pink font. And results of these actions appear in plum font.
When a new appeal arrives at StopBadware, it is immediately sent to our partners who re-scan the site for badware.
If the site is determined to be clean, we send the site owner an email and close the appeal. If the site is still determined to contain badware, the appeal is tested by the StopBadware staff.
If the site is found to contain badware, we send the site owner an email and close the appeal. If the site is found to be clean, we re-send the appeal to to our partners and the process repeats.
